Understanding the Crown Chakra

THE BASICS OF THE CROWN CHAKRA

The Crown Chakra is thought of as the “seat of spirituality.” This is where we find the physical connection to the Pineal Gland which acts as a mechanism for igniting our imagination which is required in order to interact with the higher spiritual planes. It is through this Chakra that our connection with the Divine occurs.

When the Crown Chakra is balanced we are able to incorporate our emotional & mental relationships with the higher virtues of Hope, Faith, Awareness, Consciousness & Truth. This is essentially how we transmute negative and lower vibrational emotions into higher vibrations virtues that we are able to embody. It is through this center that we are able to work on the Ascension process.

IMBALANCES IN THE CROWN CHAKRA

When the Crown Chakra is imbalanced we can feel disconnected from God/Source/The Divine triggering feelings of loneliness, depression, anxiety & blocks to worthiness. Within this chakra we also balance our Feminine & Masculine energies activating the Kundalini Energy to its fullest.

If this center is underutilized or experiencing blockages it can show up as conflict in our spiritual life meaning that you lean more heavily into your Ego versus your Intuition. This can be a hard road to walk as it forces you to “do everything yourself” and leaves you feeling unsupported on your path.

Another way imbalances can show up is when you are leaning to heavily into one energy or the other (masculine or feminine.) This could mean that you have difficulty receiving support, feel weak asking for help, are too assertive, un-nurturing or under nurtured and that you have trouble balancing the process of Allowing & Acting.

It typically revolves around your worthiness to be connected to the Divine or your Wholeness as a person. Typically its a matter of identifying the belief and releasing the experiences that are trigger that belief to have a foothold.

From there it’s a matter of seeing how it’s affecting your life and working to correct the way that belief has been impacting you and playing out in your life. Cultivating a stronger belief that serves you will help to prevent future imbalances in this Chakra.
